Club World Ranking:

Liverpool, Anderlecht and Internacional Porto Alegre break into the "Top 10" !

MŠK Žilina - the World's Club Team of the Month for August 2010

In spite of the defeat in the UEFA Super Cup Internazionale Milan is now the leader in the Club World Ranking, because the Lombards profited from the higher deletion value of the Catalans from August 2009. The "Reds" of Liverpool, RSC Anderlecht from Brussels and SC Internacionale Porto Alegre, that won the Copa Libertadores, were three teams who catapulted into the "Top 10". In the top part of the ranking Juventus Torino, FC do Porto, Beşiktaş İstanbul and CSKA Moscow also showed considerable improvement.

Never before has an Israeli club been so well placed in the Club World Ranking as Hapoel Tel-Aviv (21st place) are now. And sensational improvements (by more than 150 places) in the "Top 500" were achieved by Club Santos Laguna de Torreon (Mexico), NK Hajduk Split (Croatia), Barcelona SC Guayaquil (Ecuador), Enyimba International FC Aba (Nigeria), Maccabi Tel-Aviv (Israel), CS Sfaxien (Tunesia), Lausanne-Sports (Switzerland), Arema Malang (Indonesia) and Apollon Lemeses (Cyprus).
