Two africans on Top with 6 Goals each

With already 91 matches played – 225 goals scored in African Club Competitions, the first World Top Goal Scorer list for 2014 ( only international and (inter)continental goals) was topped by 2 African players : Mouhcine Iajour of Morocco and Raja AC Casablanca and Mrisho Ngassa of Tanzania and Young Africans SC. Iajour, winner of the 2013 FIFA Club World Cup Bronze Ball, scored 2 international goals and 4 club goals, while Ngassa scored 6 club goals, being 2 hat-tricks, home and away, in CAF Champions League preliminary round.

Iajour and Ngassa were followed by 8 players with 4 goals each. The Top 10 consists of 6 African, 3 Asians and 1 South American, wityh only Nigeria having 2 players in the list.

Sout Africa Bernard Parker and Qatari Boualem Khoukri scored most goals for their national teams with 4 each. Parker scored all his goals in African Nations Championship (CHAN), while Koukhi scored same in West Asian Football Federation Championship (WAFF).
